Through the Heritage series, Estran wishes to be part of a reflection on our relationship to our environment and to food. Each bottle is an act of preservation of the Bas-Laurentian apple genetic heritage. By promoting apples from ancestral orchards in the four corners of Bas-Saint-Laurent, we collectively give meaning to these trees, sometimes centuries old, that crisscross our territory. Each season, they risk being cut in a market economy where the cheapest outweighs our culture. Each bottle is a small act of resistance allowing us to think differently about our territory.
